View Full Version : A bizar feeling - pression in the head! Ritalin?

Since i have been using RITALIN i have this bizzar feeling (pression) in the head.
Like i have something that press the sinusis or the head i can not determined, but is like i have something in the head.

No other symptoms since one year. Only that.

Do you have some experiences like this?

That's why i quit ritalin. try dexedrine instead. much milder. no head pressure or headaches.

ps are you using caffeine? (coffee, tea, soft drinks like Coke and pepsi). If so, stop mixing ritalin with caffeine, and see if that helps improve things!

NB Also, check your BLOOD PRESSURE when this is happening. A good blood pressure maximum is 120/70. If it is higher, talk to your Doctor.

I've been taking Ritalin for two days now. I had a horrible headache a few hours after the first dose. Another headache after the second dose's effect passed away. I guess it was the caffeine. I'm still learning XD.

I just wrote on the general meds. thread about headaches from Ritalin. Pressure behind the eye, nausea, general headachiness, etc. I only drink one cup of coffee a day. Have you thought about the slow release form?

I have exactly the same issue with Ritalin generic. With the brand Ritalin the pressure was more in my face-- like in my sinuses
