Hello,
I have just found a great program called PocketAlarm. The thing I like about it is that you can set it to announce the time at set intervals (say, every 30 minutes). A voice wakes up my pda and says, "the time is 2:30" or whatever. I have also set it to make little announcements ("time to check the laundry,"for example).
I'd like to hear about programs others are finding useful.

This is such a great thread topic, it's too bad no one has replied yet! I'll fix that...
I just purchased a Palm TX and it has been lifesaver! After losing yet another paper planner, I decided to go the PDA route. Here are the programs I have downloaded thus far:
iSilo - great for viewing databases
BugMe - excellent for setting up alarms to go off regularly (i.e. hourly) with small yellow sticky note reminders that appear on the screen that I can customize (eg, "get back to studying)...
The Missing Sync - absolutely essential if you're a mac user: it enables you to synchronize the Palm OS equivalents of iCal/iTunes/etc. with your Mac.
MyBills - keep track of your bills and whether you paid 'em (& if so, when). You can set up reminders that automatically appear a few days before they're due.
Tetris - for the times when you just gotta zone out due to the imminent threat of being consumed by boredom. :D
Anyone else have helpful ADD-friendly programs?

I'm having a bad time with my PPC (pocket PC; like Palm but Windows based). Why?
I got a Mac, and PPCs (Windows handhelds) won't run on Macs.
*sigh*
My only hope is to run a Windows emulator on the Mac and then try using my PPC again.
