I just had a psychiatrist appointment last night and he added Abilify to the Seroquel and Adderall I currently take. I took Abilify for the first time last night- 2 mg., and didn't notice any real difference. I am supposed to stay at that dose for a few days, then go to 5 mg., then increase, if necessary, until my mood stabilizes. I currently take 250 mg. Seroquel (just had to increase from 200 because I'm still cycling-- he told me to increase the Seroquel as well if I have to) in addition to 60 mg. Adderall XR, plus up to 40 mg. IR/day depending on what I'm doing. I've been doing searches and haven't found anything with regards to this particular combo, so was just wondering if anyone here has any experience with it and how it worked for them.

Abilify is a good med in my opinion. It has done wonders for me. I don't cycle as much and my moods stay even. I take 15mg a day. I only take 50mg of Seroquel for sleeping, and take Adderall XR 20mg BID. So, I kind of have the same combo, but not as much Seroquel. I do well on it.

I've not heard of interactions but speak to the doctor. They're more knowledgeable than I am. I was able to take seroquel with abilify bit the seroquel was a bad medication for me as it actually made me hallucinate and I never had them prior to seroquel. But I'm just an isolated case.
