Hey group!

I was diagnoised with ADHD a year ago, and was put on concerta. Dosage went up to 54mg every day. Its been good to me, but not too great. I heard of people taking adderall, and it seems like it works better for them. SO I really want to try it out. But the problem is that i'm in Canada, so I dont know the regulation with this drug. I've heard that its banned or something? Does anyone know whats this about? If anyone s taking Adderall in Canada which ones are you guys taking?

If its not, what do I say you my family doctor? Do I just I want to try Adderall instead of Concerta?

Thanks alot!

Health Canada allows Adderall XRŽ back on the Canadian market (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/ahc-asc/media/nr-cp/2005/2005_92_e.html)

OTTAWA - Health Canada will allow Shire BioChem Inc., the manufacturer of Adderall XRŽ, to resume sales of the drug on the Canadian market following the recommendation of an independent and external committee appointed under the Food and Drugs Act.

Adderall XRŽ, a central nervous system stimulant, was approved in Canada on January 23, 2004. AdderallŽ, the immediate-release form of the drug, has never been marketed in Canada.
