does your meds make you feel a bit more "normal" or 100% "normal"
I know "normal" isnt something that can really be described.....but you know what I mean :)

'Bout as "normal" as I can get. Lol
I've found that when I find a med that woks best, I don't feel like I'm on anything.
Like Lamictal... when I'm taking it regularly, I don't feel like I'm taking anything at all but if I stop taking it, things start falling apart, fast. I usually don't realize just how much it does for me until I don't have it anymore. With other mood stabilizers and anti-depressants I was always aware of the medication and it didn't feel "natural."
I'm finding Dexedrine to be the same way. I know I'm getting more done and in a more organized manner but I don't feel as much like I'm "on something." I kinda wondered if it was really helping all that much until I didn't take it Friday (because I was going out that night and didn't want to worry about it interacting with alcohol and such). I had to drag my butt through the morning and got nothing done the rest of the day. :P So obviously, it's working. Lol.
I like for my meds to make me feel more capable, not drugged.
As far as "normal"... I guess I feel more normal than I do without them. I still don't feel "like everyone else" but I doubt that'll ever happen.
If by normal you mean functional, then yes, definitely.

Makes me able to focus and to me personally it makes the world seem not so bad, but my mom says I have less patience on it. *shrugs* I seem to think I have more

Adderall makes me feel more normal in the sense that not every little thing sets me off...but it's not helping in areas other than my general mood so I definitely still feel "abnormal."

Definitely not 100% normal, just more functional and in control; rather than the bipolar or etc etc controlling me.

ok - what's normal? Do you mean like other people with Attention Surplus Disoroder? I will never feel like that. it does help me to keep my impulsive behavior under control and manage the over sensitivity I have. It also helps with focus.
Before medication my output at work and home were consistent with my co-workers because I was always dealing with my distractibility/impulsive behavior. Now that I don't have to fight that my productivity all around is through the roof.
Just like wearing glasses.

My meds make me feel like an industrial grade machine.

Ugh, that's how I felt on Adderall.
Dexedrine is really more like a good pair of glasses (or really more accurately, contacts, because I'm not aware of it like glasses).
