Can Vynanse and Strattera be combined?

Sure but since amphetamines do most of what Strattera does there isn't much of a need.

Sure but since amphetamines do most of what Strattera does there isn't much of a need.Amotoxetine (Strattera) works very differently than amphetamines. I take AdderallXR + Strattera, and I can say for a fact that the two work very differently taken on their own, and combined is a whole other ballgame too. They do have an area of overlap in the symptoms they address (think of a Venn diagram), but otherwise are very different.

That said, I don't know for a fact that Vyvanse and Strattera can be combined. Best to ask a pharmacist/doctor about that. But if I were to guess, I would guess yes.

Strattera (in my experience) works much better at making you feel 'normal' 24/7...while amphetamines just give you a short 'burst' of help during the day (which is good if you don't need 24/7 medication - but some people do).

Personally, I had too many urological side effects with Strattera and it made me feel kind of 'dull' or 'flat' - lots of apathy and loss of emotions. But it works great for some people.

I could definately understand combining them though - Strattera for the round the clock help, and Adderall for that 'extra boost' during the work day.

Yeah, the docs couldn't figure out why I had prostatitis at 28. Prostate pain in nothing to look forward to. Once I went off Strattera, it disappeared.

Strattera is a Selective Norenephrine Reuptake Inhibitor, it is essentially another form of Effexor that has been approved for ADD. Vynanse, and others are actually amphetamines
