I found this:

(from http://www.ldaminnesota.org/programs/attention_deficits.html )

ADHD Phone Information Line
Have questions about ADHD? Need a referral to a counselor, doctor or organization for specific questions? Unsure what to do? Call the ADHD Phone Information Line at 952-922-8374. ADHD Specialists will answer your questions, help you choose the next step or provide referrals to professionals in the greater Twin Cities area who work with or specialize in attention deficits. There is no fee to speak with an ADHD specialist.

I just called it to make sure it's an actual hotline and it's the LDA office, so it works!

:) Hi,

I'm 50+ from Minn and was diagnosed with ADD several years ago and have been on Strattera which doesn't work at all as compared to Ritalin.

Anyhow, my psychiatrist really doesn't believe in ADD and refuses to prescribe anything other than Strattera. I called Medica for a list of participating psychiatrists and got a list of mostly psychologists. I really would appreciate any names of psychiatrists in the area that are knowledgeable about adult ADD as I will waste a lot of $$ if I make an appointment and have a similar experience.

Thanks so much.
