I started dex a week ago,15 mg la,it did nothing...2 days later the doc. put me on 30 mg la ,it worked a bit but it was gone a 2 pm.oh i would take then at 8 am.2 days after that he put me on 45 mg long acting.the first 2 days at that dose was great..even thought i didn't feel that i was taking anything,my wife seen a huge difference..I very inpulsive,hypersenitive to sound,light and touch.going by the sound part of it i knew when the dex was starting to work..my hearing tonned down some it was very nice...and it also felt good not to wear sun glasses even in the fog...and i'm not inpulsive.today the third day was horriable,I took the 45 mg dex la at 8 am.After about an hour and a half I was in a state of non-stop anxiety,my head was foggy at times.I felt like the dex was working in overdrive..i called the drug store and they said just keep taking it and it will pass..could it be that i was increased to fast,or i was having a very very bad day.By the way i was digonsed a 4 years of age and i'm 40 now, but never took anything and as and adult i have self medicated with alcahol.i've been clean 5 months.so the doc decided to help me..and advice this would be a great help thanks.
