Has anyone experienced panic attacks with Vyvnase?
I have had previous issues with panic attacks and was wondering if anyone has found them to be more frequent, or none at all.
Any input at all is greatly appreciated.

I've always had high anxiety, and never taken a stimulant other than caffine or a drink like red bull. My first day on Vyvanse I had my first actual anxiety attack...I didn't know that's what it was at the time and I called my psychiatrist and told him I thought I was going to die. That's when he pointed out it was just anxiety and that I'd live through it.

My first couple of weeks on the medication were a little rough with the anxiety, even now sometimes it's rough, but nothing compared to that first day. It does eventually go away or I've just learned to realize it's just my anxiety and deal with it.

That's my story; as far as Panic Attacks go...I know they are worse than anxiety attacks, so you have my sympathies with what you are going through.

Have you been having increased attacks? Something I found that really helped with reducing the anxiety I felt was stopping all caffine containing beverages...that is something that triggered it quite quickly in the beginning.

I agree about the caffeine. For me amphetamines + caffeine = panic attack. :P

Yup. People who have primary anxiety can be triggered by stimulant type chemicals.

The only exception I have found for myself is Dexedrine.

It is a very smooth and quiet medication. (Compared to, say, Adderall and Ritalin.)

Doctors should darn well try it themselves before they pass judgement on it's "speediness". ;)

In low doses, it's the calmest stimulant of all the one's I've tried.

OMG yes... Dexedrine is sooooo much smoother and calmer than other stims. My anxiety thanks me greatly from making the switch.
I have had one panic attack since starting dex but I think that was due to a combination of overexerting myself at the gym, consuming some caffeine, and already being a little anxious about some personal social issues I was dealing with.
As long as I stay away from the caffeine, dex doesn't aggravate my anxiety at all.

It's kinda weird that Vyvanse has the same active ingredient as Dexedrine but seems to have side effects more akin to Adderall. Dex doesn't make me anxious, moody, or give me headaches and I've heard a lot more complaints about stuff like that from Vyvanse users than Dexedrine users. It's interesting. I guess that different delivery system really makes a difference.
