View Full Version : Whats your IQ?
DimensionX 01-04-08, 08:25 AM Test your IQ at: http://web.tickle.com/tests/uiqnew/
I'm not sure if you have to sign up or not, if you do the sign up is completely free and you get access to hundreds of tests about a quarter of which are PHD certified, you can actually get a full free report of your IQ test which breaks down your results and shows what your strongest abilities are and how to improve them.
I have to be honest and admit that I have taken this test once before, I took it at the beginning of university which is about 4 years ago and got the results: IQ 133 Imaginative Mastermind.
Remember that an IQ test isn't completely accurate so don't treat your results as gospel, although my results are pretty high, I honestly can't see my IQ being any more than 124 - 125 and they kinda over do the titles they give you.
They give you an option of printing out a CERTIFICATE OF INTELLECTUAL ACHIEVEMENT which I found pretty funny ;)
anyway, have fun and please post your results here (though obviously it's optional)
Congratulations, DimensionX!
Your IQ score is 144

auntchris 01-06-08, 12:19 AM My IQ 109
netsavy006 01-06-08, 03:14 PM My IQ (when I was tested for it) was 99.
Crazy~Feet 01-06-08, 03:26 PM I once found a site that allowed you to test for Language IQ and Mathematics IQ individually. I don't recall the numbers, just the categories.
Language: I rated Super-Genius.
Mathematics: I rated Mentally Retarded.
I wasn't exactly astonished, in fact I actually expected something of that sort. I DO have dyscalculia, after all....
Matt S. 01-06-08, 03:28 PM I was IQ tested twice in my life and the first time I scored a 152 and the second time I scored a 158 and those were total scores of different things. My EQ is apparently very high as well.
TygerSan 01-06-08, 04:07 PM I like that one :)
I usually don't score so high on the combined ones. (mostly becuase I'm slow, and there's a definite penalty for being slow, even if one is accurate).
Last time I took the WAIS, I scored in the 98th percentile in the verbal, and something like the 25th on the performance portions. If you average my scores, I'm average.
auntchris 01-06-08, 04:41 PM I took this test again, and I did better here are the results.

Your Intellectual Type is Precision Processor. This means you're exceptionally good at discovering quick solutions to problems, especially ones that involve math or logic. You're also resourceful and able to think on your feet.
118. This is not the standard IQ test lol; I don't think you can trust this enough (or the IQ stuff at all), although when I did it at school (it was so long and frustrating...) I got more more than 130 and got similar results.
Your Intellectual Type is Visual Mathematician. This means you are gifted at spotting patterns — both in pictures and in numbers. These talents combined with your overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results.
Yeah, that's pretty much me. I can make visual operations but not numbers and letters. They tire me. Hey, I finished it!!! I got bored when I read "page 4 of 9" but I kept it.

4gotAgain 01-07-08, 08:07 AM ive done another IQ test before and got 137. I was on Ritalin then tho haha, i guess it helps.
I also did a test that splits the results into different categories. I got exceptional in ever area except for common sense lol.

Maybe we need a social club for dyscalculiacs? :D
QueensU_girl 01-07-08, 11:49 AM My tested IQ at the Psychologist was 115. That was 8 hours and cost $1200.
Another test I took (a quick and dirty one on Facebook) was 118. My younger bro and cousin are both engineers and their scores on that same test were 133 and 134. I think it's a pretty accurate test.
My scores of 115 to 118 falls into the 84th to 86th percentile range, I think. (+1 Standard Deviation)
NB My 'verbal reasoning' was in the 97th percentile. *ouch* LOL
QueensU_girl 01-07-08, 11:55 AM I don't know how much different being on meds makes to IQ tests.
They could make an inattentive ADDer more impulsive and more speedy in their test completion -- which means more rushing and more mistakes!
I understand stimulants don't boost all acheivement test scores...
cinderellaphant 01-15-08, 03:25 PM IQ is 129
Ichpuchtli 01-16-08, 07:47 AM IQ 137 What an odd number.
Last tested IQ a couple months ago which turned up either 139 or 140 can't remember. Haven't thought (nor cared) to see the difference between non-medicated IQ and medicated IQ
Anyone with an IQ of 130 and up, should try out for the mensa society (www.mensa.org (http://www.mensa.org))
Was just curious: What areas did you guys excel at and what areas did you have trouble with? For me, the math, pattern prediction was a breeze (scored 100 in each of those) but the english stuff - not so hot at.
busyhermit 01-16-08, 11:05 AM Got a 140. Funny. Real life makes me feel so dumb, sometimes I forget I'm smart. Well..."IQ smart"...for what it's worth.

Two answers I just couldn't figure out - the one where you had to unscramble a word (I totally suck at that - requires working memory), and a number question a couple above it - "Jack likes this number and not that" or something...Dang, makes me crazy to not get it. Had to just click something to move on.

I wonder how much getting really nervous about timed tests and having someone watch you as you try to figure things out effects your score....
anyway....
Though on this online test I got 127. Not bad I guess. But not that impressive either *shrug* What I like is that it happens to be my lucky number :-D (27 is, I mean).
I didn't even try some of the math problems though. I just guessed... lol....
MaNaeSWolf 01-22-08, 06:30 PM 138, only did the test cause I was avoiding work.
Should ADDers not get an additional few points because they get distracted so quickly??
QueensU_girl 01-22-08, 06:39 PM How can so many of the people posting be near [or above] 99th percentile?
Sounds weird.
MaNaeSWolf 01-22-08, 06:54 PM Cause we special . .
and I think I am continously surrounded by that other 99% here in SA.
but it is a bit strange.
MaNaeSWolf 01-22-08, 06:55 PM could also be because the average well fitting into society types wont come here to seek fimiliar brains.
140 - looks like I've lost a few points since I last did it. Oh well..... :-)
I'm not surprised by the high scores of people here.
How can so many of the people posting be near [or above] 99th percentile?

We not so look as we dumb!
I only scored 125 on my sample IQ test the doc gave me....GAH....I expected it to be HIGHER! made me so mad...
Zips? Zoodles? Zonkers? Someone must be a Dr. Seuss fan.

Vhan, 125 is still high. Besides even if you have 100 it doesn't mean anyone is dumb. 100 is supposed to be the average IQ.
blueyeyore 01-30-08, 08:33 PM Congratulations, Lyndsey!

This is one of the most accurate tests I've seen. Very similar to real IQ tests, but they don't take several other factors into account, (like age, etc).
It's also accurate about my character.
