Vyvanse has been amazing to my life as it has for many out here. So during the day it's great. Sometimes I'm so productive though that it's almost like I don't know when to stop. I keep ticking like the energizer bunny.
Sometimes, even during the day, I almost too hyper.

So last week I popped a kava kava pill and a valerian root pill, both herbs. And it was odd. They sort of calmed me, but the more dramatic effect was that they killed Vyvanse. All the effects that I generally feel from Vyvanse was dead. I was a little freaked out initially so I did some reasearch.

I actually thought it was the kava that had done it. It turns out that it was the valerian root.

People with serious health conditions, or who are taking prescription drugs for mood or neurological disorders should consult a qualified professional before taking valerian.

So i'm definitely not taking valerian during the day, but I thought that I might give it a shot at night, when I want to kill Vyvanses effect so that I'm not easily awakened.
I've been sleeping 4-5 hours lately. I'm pretty fresh and alert during the day, but I have noticed that I start getting a little irratible and paranoid after lacking sleep for a while. Well, I'll let ya'll know how it worked out.

Well for my sleep troubles I take Lunesta and it works well. I've heard valarian root could potentially give you ragweed allergies.

I'm glad to see Vyvanse gives you energy during the day.

Also, how much Vyvanse do you take a day. My opinion (not fact) is that it may need to be lowered a bit if it's giving you sleep troubles.
