I had been diagnosed and given a prescription which worked great but was really expensive. I work part time and am in college so I don't have insurance. And can barely make it by as is without a really expensive prescription and appointments. So I stopped going to the doctors.
What should I do now? What is the proper etiquette? I mean I haven't seen the doctor in a few months do I just call up and schedule an appointment and pretend nothing is out of ordinary?

I'd just call 'em up, make the appt, then come in and explain what happened. A financial situation is totally understandable. And your doc can probably help you find something more financially friendly if he knows it's an issue.

Lord am I thankful for my insurance and my parents helping me with that. I added up my meds w/o insurance for a month and it terrified me! :P
