I have a 10y/o switching from 54mg Concerta to 30mg Vyvanse. She's been diagnosed with ADD for appx 1 1/2 years and we still do not have the right dosage or brand down. She started wit Adderall, but that made her VERY irritable. She switched to Concerta and that did ok for sometime and we saw a slight improvement in grades and no irritablity. Now, we're going to try Vyvanse. We will start tomorrow..I will be able to observe for a least 2 days before she goes to school on Monday. I'm really frightened with "the jaw" feedback, you guys are reporting. We never had any twitching or anything with any of the other medicines. I pray we do not have it with this one.

The more educated you are the less scarey it will be. You can alway tell the doctor you want her to go back on the Concerta after you see how the Vyvanse work.

It just may work better for your daughter... think positively.:)
