well let me introduce myself I'm Megan 17 a senior in highschool.
Anyhoo i've just started taking concerta 27mg pills
It helped me relax and concentrate and
the sideeffects i got: not appetite, slight dizzyness.
But the good thing is - it totally stablized my mood ( i get bad mood swings nearly everyday usually depression)
Is that normal?
i thought i had an additional mood disorder but on concerta I seem to be perfectly normal.
what do you guys think? Could Adhd have cause the "mood disorder"?

Probably. I know when I'm not on my medication I can get really cranky really quick. Like my boyfriend picked me up from the airport and I was all happy and lovey-dovey, and then he missed a turn to get home and we had to take the "scenic route" and I got really upset out of nowhere. Something little like that shouldn't have upset me as much as it did, but I couldn't stop myself. I had to tell him that I hadn't taken my Adderall that morning because I was flying and I didn't want to get dizzy and he immediately understood.

I think it's because with ADHD you get confused easier with a lot of things going on distracting you and you can get really frustrated. If your plans get messed up or something goes wrong it means more mental thought and frustration on your part to fix it. Also with the ADHD mind it's hard to let go of something that frustrated/upset you. So it's easy to go from happy-go-lucky to upset with very little trigger.
