Well I had an allergic reaction to Depakote and she is now giving me Tegretol. Crazymeds shows several reports where Tegretol hasn't really helped people with BP. I just don't effing know and I am getting discouraged.

Anyone have Tegretol stories to tell? Nothing about receiving it under the Xmas tree one year?

Too bad about the Depakote, Tegretol was attempted on me as a child but I never took it, so I can't really help you.

On the bright side, there's a higher probability of it being effective than other suboptimal drugs like Gabitril.

I sowwy sponge...I'm having issues with my depakote too, but nothing serious like an allergic reaction. I don't know too much about Tegretol...never heard of it actually...so I can't help you much there, but I'll be thinkin and hopin it works for you.
