Get this: I'm in Sweden, I have no money saved, I just realized I probably need to go to the ADDA conference in St. Louis in May.
What do I do? Sell my body? Ask my therapist to give me money for coming back to educate him? Hitchhike?
I figure a good list of tips on how to raise money would be useful for any of us suddenly realizing we want to do something, or go somewhere... Anyone recognizes this situation at all..? :p

Do you like kids? Babysit.....
Being a papergirl might be fun....
Sell lemonade in your front yard....
Telemarketing could be fun....
Put an ad up somewhere -- describing your skills.....
Offer to be "backup" for a rock band.....
Do odd jobs for people....
Have a garage sale.....
Offer to walk dogs for your neighbors.....
Have you contacted ADDA directly? They do have a scholarship available for the conference. There is also a discount for people from countries other than the US and Canada.
I think this could be a great thread. With all the creative AD/HD mind here I'm sure people will comes up with some great ideas.

Telemarketing is horrible!! Just an opinion from teenage years!
I say rob a bank.
O.K seriously
One can write a cute little story or book of poems, and sell them, as a fund raiser. (Hand made)
Draw a picture of people, silly or realistic and sell them
Play music on the street.
Pose as a blind or crippled person.
Bake treats to sell
wash cars
polish silver in retirement areas.
Dress up in a box as a veding machine/video game/washing machine/pay phone have a realistic slot for collecting money people will put money in there just cause it's so funny.
Write to some millionaires/millionairesses or comfortably-off folk or just anyone with more money than you .... OK, to anyone.

I would have no problems whatsoever with this, actually... :o Shamelessly asking "What you like to have the honour of funding this very important thing for me, since I don't have the budget for it myself?"
Or maybe I would... But bold and brave is the only way to go in this world, I suppose.
They say fortune favours the bold - and nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Hey, you only got a stamp and some paper to lose !
Keep it sincere and you might be in with a chance.
