Has anyone noticed that when you have a bad sinus infection the dex doesnt work well.It gives me a lot of head and neck tension a long with a fast heart beat...Since I went on antibiotcs the dexidrine is working well again. Im not sure why this is and if its normal.....

Ya I actually noticed that also, I have bad allergies and if im congested the dexedrine just makes me have this real tired/lazy/headache feeling ..hard to explain but it def doesnt work like it usually would.. I kinda get what you mean. my doc always says the nose is like a center point and if its congested or runny it throws everything off.

PLEASE:

Do not mix an DECONGESTANT from the drugstore (e.g. pseudoephedrine, etc) with your Dexedrine.

They are similar drugs and it is like you are taking 2x your Dexedrine dosage.

("Meth" can actually be made from SUDAFED, etc.)

Talk to the Pharmacist...

Good warning. Only thing that I know you can take for Allergies on Dexedrine/Adderall is Claritin.
