I like the new homepage. Looks very nice :)

Thanks... Still have a lot of features and modifications to add / make but we're getting there.

In the coming months we will have a custom "skin" or design (call it what you like ;) ) that will change the looks here in a big way... All the features will be the same as they would with this look but the graphics will be much better and AD/HD themed, of course.

I seem to get the old re-direct sometimes at: www.addforums.com (http://www.addforums.com) , while I always get the new forums at http://addforums.com . I'm trying to see if it is a cached page issue or if there is something I am missing.

Anyone else see two different things at the above links?

I'm sorry. I for one don't like it.

Given that most of us are ADD/ADHD, there is way too much clutter on the homepage. Too many distractions. Too many enabled modules in your VBulletin portal.

I used to admin a large forum of my own years ago. We only had about 3,400 users, but we were highly active (750,000 posts in four years operation).
So I can understand the ... "Ooh La La" factor of getting a new forum script. So it is easy to go overboard.
While I have learned a great deal about my 'traits' through being a Troll on these forums, I'll be forced to use GreaseMonkey + a custom style sheet to remove many elements of the forum to ease navigation and reading.

What you see is by no means the end result for the main page. I have not added or removed any of the modules, which chances are both will happen before the end result is achieved..

I know this is a different "theme" but ADDF will likely have a home page similar to www.MilitarySOS.com (http://www.MilitarySOS.com) , which is using the same portal system, but highly modified. No, we won't have exactly the same stuff on the main page. I'm just trying to show how it can be used on the back end.

I like the new homepage too - and I also get two different pages when clicking on the links provided by David... Anywhoooo...I like the changes made thus far and am looking forward to more.
