I am Bipolar and even when Im very depressed in my dreams Im not. I feel the way I did before I became Bipolar without all the mood swings that came along with it. I actually found that surprising when I think of it. I feel completely normal, Its very nice actually.

Do others get the same way?

My dreams are usually completely random and when I can remember them, my mood or mood patterns are usually not something I consciously notice.

The thing I find odd is when I dream about people I know, or when I dream about someone and meet them later in life (its happened once that I am aware of)

I am always interested in the way dreams work. I would love to do more research on them someday.

The only times when my condition carries into the dream world is when I am Hulk angry. Then I am really angry in my dreams.

In my dreams, I don't label myself and don't worry about who I am. I do have a lot of dreams that are very scary and weird. It's hard to think about " Well am I bipolar" when dreaming about drowning in the swimming pool or being attacked my a pack of wild dogs.

Im surprised to see this thread is actually alive. I posted it months ago and no one had responded.

Sometimes I'll dream about someone I haven't seen or thought about for years. Occasionally I'll recongize the face but I can't remember who that person was. I'll spend a while trying to figure it out and if I do I'll wonder why. I can never figure out that last part.

I agree.

Being chased by a psychotic clown makes it hard to think about much else too. Lol. That's the dream I woke up to a 6:00 this morning (when I finally had a day I could've slept in).

It depends, usually my dreams are really random, and then I don't seem to detect moods in them. But lately, I've been having a lot of dreams that seem to be extensions of real life, in that they could very well be a typical day, and it's hard to remember sometimes if something really happened. So in those, I notice the moods carry through. Not the most refreshing sleep, needless to say.
