Alright so I can feel that my dose wore off completely about 2 hours ago and now I feel more fearful of the world. Fear of failure, fear of maintaining a job that requires you to socialize with people, depressive mood, but not exactly too depressive. I guess you could call it gloomy. What is going on here...I have been taking 20mg of Adderall XR for 3 days now and the crash effects didn't cause me to become this gloomy or have this much anxiety. Oh yeah forgot to mention, I almost feel overwhelmed by everything one must do to be able to be successful. It's just so annoying and really bugging me.
Could this be because I stopped taking Adderall xr 20mg on Sunday (to just take a break)? I mean I felt good during the day on 20mg for 8 hours, but now im just so moody...Oh by the way, I only got 5 hours of sleep last night if that is a factor to consider...Man........

My anxiety and depression ALWAYS increases when I don't get enough sleep. Especially the next day after my adderall wears off, it's way worse. If i get enough sleep and am eating right I'm usually fine.

I've always felt like that sober. The anxiety would be burning-like, with occasional series of "pin prickling" heatwaves. Windows and fans would be open and on at 0oC. It was (perhaps would/will be again) unreal.
I have some social anxiety + adderall made it worse.
My doctor added 20mg of Celexa and that helped alot.
Switching from adderall to dexedrine reduced some of the physical anxiety/stress effects as well.
I found cognitive therapy to help my aniety. It sounded like a load of crap at first, but I am surprised how well it works. David Burns wrote an excellent book on the subject about 15 years ago.
