Sandoz is the EON tablet...It is probably the more prevalent of the generic IR tablets...Its the one with the E on it...

Doesn't anybody have any experience with it? Good? Bad? Mediocre.... How's it compare to BARR?

Hi, new member here.

I've always taken the brand, but when I found out Barr was making the brand and the generic, I decided to save and took their generic.

However, in the past two months, my pharmacy told me they were no longer using Barr, but Sandoz instead. I figured, so what.

In the past month, I have been getting uncomfortable heartburn and intestinal pain on 30mg IR. I don't know if this is just a coincidence, but I'm going for the extra $200 next month just to see if there is a difference.

I just don't feel right these days.

YES, Eon and Sandoz are the SAME.

My pharmacy always carried the EON Generic- until 2 months ago...then they started using Barr Generic and it is horrible for me!! It made me extremely irritable. So, this last presciption, i requested *not* to have Barr, so my pharmacy ordered RANBAXY Generic instead. It will be my first time trying them out. Pharmacy should have them by Friday, so Im hoping for the best!
