Hey everyone. I'm 21 years old and was newly diagnosed with adult ADD/ADHD. My doctor has prescribed me with Concerta with the starting dose of 27mg since Friday. The week after I take 27mg, I can double it to 54mg. As of now, my moods are steady. But I'm confused. How long does it takes for Concerta to work? Maybe a week or two? Can someone help me please? Thanks

You should be able to see a change within 1 to 2 weeks, but do give the drug at least 3 - 4 weeks to allow for side effects to pass and to better evaluate the usefulness of the drug.
