I have heard that there is more that one kind of generic adderall (IR tabs) and that some people prefer one generic (Barr maybe?) to another. Does anyone know what I am talking about? In your opinion, which is better and why?

To the best of my knowledge with Adderall there is the Barr brand, those weren't too bad if you took like 60 mg doses at a time, Mallinckrodt, left the system in 2 hours, Eon/Corepharma, not bad, I liked Barr better, the brand name were good but made me feel odd. That is my experience.

Barr are the best that I've had. I don't remember the name of the other brand but they felt like they were half as strong at the same dosage.

Ranbaxy 10mg tabs are basically identical to Shire's Adderall 10mg, as far as I'm concerned. Right now, I'm on 3 x 10mg Ranbaxy tabs per day and doing well on them.

I have also tried BARR 15mg tabs (last month) and did NOT like them. They seemed weaker, yet strong enough to still give me side effects, mainly dry mouth. They also had no lasting power.

I just started on adderall. I have corepharma 10mg. I take a half tab in the morning. at 2pm I start zoning out again and my productivity stops.

Is this when the others usually wear off? I am scared to take another half tab because I want to be able to sleep at night. Right now my sleep is not very deep.
