I am curious if anyone has tried Strattera w/no success, yet had wellbutrin work well for them. Strattera made me feel terrible, but we've now tried Provigil, Concerta, and I had to give up on Adderall yesterday due to BP problems and the jittery feeling that would NOT go away.
I am going to try Wellbutrin now, but supposedly it works on Norepinephrine, as does Strattera, which did nothing for me. I'll find out soon enough anyway, but I just wanted to see if there were any similar situations out there...

Strattera made me keep to myself most of the time. It also made me lose my appetite. It didn't do anything for the ADHD though. I quit that in mid-January and started Wellbutrin XR 300mg QAM on 02/21. I don't feel as hopeless as I had been...but my mind still wanders constantly and it takes me forever to get anything done, if I even start it! I'm still "climbing up the walls" basically, and now my tics are more frequent. Good luck with your wellbutrin trial!

Strattera did nothing positive for me and the only negative side effect was retro-grade ejaculation. About three times of that and I said no more of this! Stopped the Strattera and it went away in a day.

So now I've moved to Wellbutrin. Started six weeks ago at 150, last week increased to 300. I seem to be more irritable and cranky and so far I haven't seen any more positive effects and have a new sexual side effect. It gets up and runs and runs and runs but it can't cross the finish line, if you know what I mean.

I'll see what happens.
