Once the weather stays warm i think that we will be doing so much more in the garden and..... hey wait.... what was the topic? oh yea... I have this habbit of changing the subject. Not so much on line or in here but when i am talking to someone. really anoys some, but Some how the change of tracks really seem to fit for me.

Good point, Lunas. The people I cherish are those who love the "derailings" (a great adjective from FrazzleDazzle) that are a part of an ADHD/ADD casual conversation. A very wise friend told me that people who get impatient or frustrated with ADHD/ADD derailings are people who can't keep up with us. I expect myself to keep focussed on a topic in a business meeting, formal gathering, or at work, but in casual conversation? If someone makes a comment, I generally consider it their disability and not mine.

I study architecture, we have these really long boring classes that I tend to fall a sleep in.
Every now and then my mind picks up a combination of words that tends me to ask a question (much to the dismay of the rest of the class as this is probably my 5th). Problem is that my questions are usually off topic as I have been sleeping (no. . .really) through the rest of the class. Funny thing is how far off subject i get the lecturer to go. But eventually I fall a sleep again as the topic goes back to phenonology.

in forum threads its not so hard for me because it moves more slowly. but I stopped chat altogether because I just can't stand it when its in nearly-real-time.

Well I was thinking that we should go camping, as long as the Coleman's working and the VW van's got some gas.

But if we went camping then who would watch the dogs, OH I saw the cutest dog the other day with a woman in front of the toy store, which reminds me I want to buy some LEGO's but only the Star Wars kind, but not from the new movies but from the old, did you see all six of them I never did. I haven't been to the movies in a while, we should go do that after we get back from camping.

If I just started talking about LEGOs suddenly ADDAWAY would be totally baffled, but i know i do that alllll the time.

We ADDers tend to kinda not realize that it might be nice if the other person could follow how our stream-of-consciousness relates to the present conversation.
BTW, should we take reels and rods in case the stream has fish?

I don't hunt but I'll happily get lost in the woods for a while until I forget I'm lost then have a weenie roast with the search party. I'll get the travel scrabble, that way after the weenies are gone we can spell out words like "Hey" and "Yipes!" and "BEAR" and "chomp chomp" and "nap". Or "tastee hyoomans" or "hunee" or "samun"...
