I just read about this in Kenny Handelman's newsletter:

People suffering from ADHD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, might not be entitled to get a driverís license.

The Swedish Road Administration plans to exclude people with ADHD because they could pose a threat to road safety.
Speaking to Swedish Radio news, the head physician of the Swedish Road Administration compared ADHD to diseases like epilepsy or alcoholism.

Kenny Handelman's blog (http://www.addadhdblog.com/discrimination-against-adhd/)

On a contrary note, I also heard that in the Netherland things might be made easier for ppl with ADD i.e. no longer requiring the extra test to allow driving with medication.

From the article:From May, epileptics or alcoholics will already have to prove that they are able to drive. Otherwise they will be banned from driving.Haha. I'd hate to be the guy riding with the alcoholics while they are being evaluated.
