Hi - someone out there must have been through this strange startup side effect. Was previously on Medadate - but switched....
This to me is totally weird but there mus be some explanation. Taking Dex either 5mg or 10mg IR causes me to feel immedately tired and sleepy - so much that I spned half the day in bed and wake up after 3 -4 hours (when it has worn off). Next dose same thing happens - also feeling depressed?? These seems to be extactly what is supposed to happne is you abruptly stop taking NOT when you start tkaing it. I am ttoally confused by this and dont know what it means - or what to do about it. IT MUST MEAN SOMETHING - someone somewhere said that if you have this sort of paradoxical reaction it is a 100% sign you have ADD - why ? - just because we do everything backwards. Does it go away in time - How long - or should i increase or decreases the dose - whats the point on staying on an ineffective dose that only gives you side effects like this.
SO I am totally lost - ANYONE with similar experience and strategies that get over this - except the obvious namely quitting _ I am just sure that there must be some clue in this as the strange workings of the brain - it cannot cause this paradoxical reaction for no reason. DESPERATE...and ttired of feeling so wonked out Thanks....
