Because I now know what to look for......I now know that I have "foot in mouth disease"! My mother has it too  I am convinced that she has ADD also and can now forgive her for blurting stuff out that embarrassed me and hurt my feelings. I also can get out of denial, "that I don't ever do this"???? I monitered a conversation that I had Sunday with a lady I had just met. I blurted out to her about some pottery thats really hasn't been discovered yet that my bf is collecting. She also collects. Than I asked him what the name was as I couldn't remember. He turned red and said he couldn't think of it, I insisted. He finally told her........I have no idea why I did that:confused: The best I can think of is that she was telling me about an obscure collection she had that wasn't recognised that she sold for a lot of money. I think I was trying to relate.I expected him to be really angry but he wasn't. He is probably more used to it then I am. When I was a child I blurted out gross things at the dinner table. I now, at 48, have to make myself refrain from blurting inappropriate things. I will think of them though and find them really funny.
