:D MMMMMMM, Newfdog, I'll gladly go with you, but only if you've got the least-muffling mufflers on that thing that the law allows. My hubby's put an aluminum V8 (I think it's a 256?) into his 1972 Triumph TR6. With the hood down you'll never know the difference, except that you will because it's going to be one LOUD m-f! Right now he just has a couple of straight pipes on it while he's getting the exhaust assembled (because it's a rod, everything has to be custom), and when that thing starts up in the garage it sounds like it's going to shake the house down. I LOVE that sound! I told him to muffle it as little as possible. He says he's going to put "glass packs" on it. I don't know what that means, but I want a nice, pleasant burble burble burble with a little choking at slow idle and an all out ROAR under load!!!! :eek:

I kind of like a lot of guy stuff. Not so much the girlier things. ;)

Well I have flow-masters on it. It's not real loud outside as the turbo acts like a muffler to a degree and I still have the cat on which also cuts the noise level. Its pretty loud inside though. Its a fun car to drive, not a good car to go on a trip.
