Thanks David, ....for all the hard work you do.. behind the scenes. You and the other members are the staff are all quite awesome. I know I appreciate everything each and everyone of you do for all of us. The time, the effort, the stresses..of keeping everyone happy and cohabitating in one place. Kudos to you all.

When you try and login and it say that the site is unavailable, you have a safe bet we are updating. ;)

Ok, we are updated to Release Candidate 2. If anyone notices anything that stopped working after this evening, please let me know in this thread.

We're working to fix up the links on the front portal and elsewhere.

Hi again David sorry i am a bit tardy getting back to you, page loads fast imm on broadband, not the fastest but better that dial up.
As for the ping .... you will have to fill me in on that , and i will try to do it for you.

David... you said to post here if things stopped working after this upgrade.. did you remove the feature on thanked posts.. to find out who you thanked and who is thanking you?

Mary, I did not know there was a way to see who "thanked" you on what posts (the thanks button in the lower right hand side of each post) but if you go into the "user cp" tab, and go all the way to the bottom, there are your rep points and any comments, which is another way of seeing the feedback.

..... in your profile... the boxes just above the message window.... where is says about me..and view contacts...etc... it was there. Now it's gone.

Click the Search drop down arrow on the menu bar at the top of the page ... you'll see it there. BTW, thanks are not the same as reputation points and comments.

The one I referred to ..showed all posts thanked by me...and all posts that I thanked. I hope it returns.

Me too, would be really helpful. Nice to know what someone likes, and that one was actually useful to someone.
