Clinical Cases in ADHD: Spanning the Spectrum from Adolescence to Adulthood (Slides/Audio) CME
April 2008
Timothy E. Wilens, MD

This audio and slide show is a clear, interesting overview of diagnosis of adolescent and adult ADHD, presented for doctors, but quite accessible for the general public. There's some good charts and examples here too.

you have to be a member to view the article. something I'm not keen on doing. Can you give us the Coles notes version?

First, I recommend a (free) membership to Medscape, it's a fount of information and an interesting place to mouse around.

I wish I could give you the Coles Notes. But it's a long piece, with the Q & A at the end it goes about 1h20m. My fingers would fall off first, even trying to do a precis.

However, the site said a transcript will be (is?) available soon. I will go and see if I can find it.

I especially recommend this for intelligent but skeptical friends and family. He makes things very clear and accessible.
