My husband is a truck driver, because of this he doesn't have a regular sleeping pattern like most of us do... So he decided to stop taking his meds because it's too hard to coordinate when he should/shouldn't take them.

Does anyone know what the side effects are of quitting them cold turkey?

I'm going to swich meds due to it not working right anymore and I got the advice to build it off. kids 1 week and adults 2 weeks.

So I bet that has a reason.

I'm out of concerta and will get another prescription until tomorrow. Three days now and no side effects; but I notice (and everybody around me) the HUGE difference when I'm not on meds. Now I know it didn't cause dependence on me.
