I have no life other than when I can stop in to relax here, I went to my doctor early for what was supposed to be a physical, through a compuer glitch, no physical, just went over my bloodwork (I'm healthy:)), now I have to go in for a physical in 6 months (Winter will be back:confused:). I drove back home and dropped my car off at the garage for an inspection, and walked to the house from there. Then proceded to have a long rendition of all my shortcomings from my wife. I then left for work, cut things short to get my car before the garage closed and spend a fortune. I went home, mowed my lawn (It's rained every day till today). I then went back to work to finish my notes cause I didn't do them earlier. Just got home 30 minutes ago, and that's why I said what I siad in the beginning. Blah, blah, blah, blah........ ho hum. Can I get a beer?

I've got a few days break and i'm supposed to be using it to Think About What I Really Want And How To Get It. Thinking's never been my problem - can someone please invent an off switch for our chattering monkey brains????? Its putting things into action. Any more than one choice and i just get locked up like a computer that's been asked to do too much.

How am i supposed to know what to do???? I can't decide! If my life is dependant on me and my decisions well god i don't believe in help me because i'm in so much trouble! And no-one else can help me, there's no point in asking for advice, so i find myself wandering about my house asking myself what the hell am i supposed to do about problems a b and c. And my brain says, 'Um, well there's this, but you don't want to do that because. . .oh and there's this option over here. . .but what if that leads to. . .'

I've been getting up early so i have the whole day to Think About Things. I take my dog down to the river in the mornings and try to stare meaningfully out into the water, like a deep and thinking person reflecting on life's great mysteries, and really all i can think of is what a great actor Nicolas Cage is, or how great it would be to to just buy, like, a whole family-size block of chocolate and scoff it all down, just to see what happens!
Oh yes, very deep and meaningfull! My life is SO on some organised and purposefull track now!

Anyway, i'm off do some more thinking. Or to wash all my socks because my sock drawer is empty except for some pitfull white ankle things. I don't even know where they came from - i certianly didn't buy them! Ankle socks are useless, they creep down into your shoes or boots and your heels start to rub against whatever it is you're wearing and you think 'Why the hell did i put ankle socks on??? Am i FIVE??? And its Winter, my feet are freezing! This is so stupid, can i not even dress myself?? Do i need to check if my underwear is inside out??'

And so you see my deilema, right? No socks, no idea about how to run my life and deplorable spelling. I need a personal assistant to just run my life for me. In fact i even tried to invent an imaginary personal assistant once (this is how pathetic i am.) I called her Brooke - i sent friends emails from her. They thought i was being funny and quirky and probably a little sad. I would ask myself, 'What would my effeciant and practical personal assistant Brooke do?' and it actually worked for day to day things like getting bills paid and getting the car washed and filled with this petrol stuff that stops it from stopping in the middle of the road, stubbornly refusing to move. But when it comes to Life Great Decisions! she packed up her little leather briefcase, told me she couldn't handle the pressure and left to go work in a hotel resort in Spain.

I wished i lived in Spain. I've always wanted to go there. I bet its sunny and smells like lavender and people ride around on Andalusions all day.

Anyway, I just needed to babble in an effort to offload feeling of head expanding with pressure to make a decisions, get something done before i die of old age. Didn't work. Head getting bigger with every passing moment. What will i do if i can't get it out the door??!! Oh no, i'll starve to death because i won't be able to go to the grocery store! I'll have to live on pizza and tap water! EEuuueewwwww!

Going to wash socks now, seriously, i'm going, i'm going to stop yabbering uselessly in self-sabotaging distraction - maybe i'll find the meaning of life in the bottom of my laundry basket. Since i haven't actually seen the bottom on my laundry basket in some time that's actually possible - anything could be down there.

Oh yea! I've lost my remote for my dvd player. Its gone - i've turned the place upside down, gave it a spring clean and its just gone - been gone for about a month - HOW DOES ONE LOSE A REMOTE???? It doesn't leave the house for gods sake! - i don't take it with me to work or the video store or out to dinner - it has to be in the house AND IT ISN'T!!! Its driving me crazy. And i can't shuffle, i can't skip chapters, i can't get rid of sub-titles. I had to watch Couching Tiger Hidden Dragon the other day without sub-titles. I still cried though. I love Chow Yung - do you know he once tried to kill himself after a woman dumped him? That's so romantic and sensitive - he's so beautiful! No-one's ever tried to kill themselves over me! Not once, insensitve jerks! Anyway, off to wash socks.

Just a thought... but has the dog had a tummyache in the last month?

I'm doing okay... actually stayed up (didn't go back to bed) and washed dishes, made breakfast, and doing a little laundry.

Amazing. But... I hate doing dishes (our dishwasher doesn't work - can't close it) and I don't like to keep washing/rinsing until all are done. #1. have to wait until the ones in the drainer are dry before I put them away (can't find my cuptowels, or teatowels, whatever)... 2. I usually wash/rinse dishes until I use up the hot water. So I have to wait to do more later:rolleyes:.

Thanks... he figured I had enough pain with the other to have to suffer toothache, too... so he wrote a script and faxed it to the pharmacy.

He also wrote a script for my inhalers.. I just didn't have enough money on hand to get those, too.

Do you have an answering machine and Caller ID?? I have a phone with both (only cost $40 bucks) - If someone doesn't leave a message - I stay where I'm at (in bed or in the recliner) and snooze on. If it's important - I'll get up and answer. Or even if someone DOES leave a message, if it's not urgent - I'll call them AFTER I'm done with my nap. Actually, when I'm sleeping in my bed, I can't hear the phone nor the answering machine - especially when I'm sleeping soundly (is that a word? LOL - it is now). I only hear it when my "inner alarm clock" (which is screwed up - sorry that I don't have a warranty on my "brain" - LOL) goes off:rolleyes:. I'm thinking of getting a baby monitor and put the deal so that I can hear the phone (that can be turned off at night) from the bedroom.

Yup, that would probably happen to me, too! Unless I have one of those "timers" that will turn lights off and on and attach it to the phone or "baby monitor" that I don't have yet. Would that work, Mary?

Great... busy too! Thanks, Mary.. went square dancing Saturday night... from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.! It was fun - still learning, though! I'll do better when I can start taking my meds again! Have a great week, Mary!:)

What you need, what we all need is more support from our families. I love these boards, they have been a life saver for me.. But I also feel sad that we need them. It's great to have support from friends, family....but sometimes I'm sure they look to me for entertainment...they are watching with anticipation for the next crazy or disasterous thing I will do...more fun for them, I cop the consequences of my impulsiveness.

Thanks Rose and Dotty... I know. Should have gotten those signatures... first it was one, then another..then another... and I'm not sure if one is even still in this area.

BB- The family should be supportive no matter what. Even if they think you're the family clown, they should still be behind you 100% and not putting you down, or talking behind your back.

Of course, my own side of the family did that for years... while I was growing up and even into adulthood. But now .. Hubby's family has taken over the non supportive role. His Mom understands and I think his Dad does some...because they see how bad it is on almost a daily basis. The sister inlaws.. all live far enough away that I rarely see them. One lives 30 + miles from her folks.. while the other 2.. are thousands of miles away. One in Florida..and one in California.

They still tell me I should go and get a part time job... somewhere.

Ah well.

click on tools.. then internet options.. browsing history.. then delete- it brings up a window that has choices on what you want to delete...

Mary is my hero..she's ALWAYS knows EXACTLY what to say to me when I am down...she's always happy, and positive, even when she's down and feeling sick and crappy..

Whew... the food is ready.. the bar is restocked.. the bathroom is clean.

Instead of peanut bowls... I've got an assortment of mixed nuts. Which, I added extra cashews to.

Both food bars are piled high for the lunch crowd.. (or late supper...depending on where you are)!

Special orders as always.. will take a bit longer. :)

That would be a late breakfast or early lunch for me - it's only 10 am.
