Yawnnnnnnnnnnn.... good thing there is a large park behind the place...with plenty of room.

Oh and I've got 3 daughters who are willing to watch kids for a small fee. We've got games lined up and plenty of activities for them. Plus, we've got permission to get a trampoline with the side cages...so noone falls off. I've changed the insurance to cover any and all activities.

I've ordered 2 more of those big screens, so there will be plenty of viewing room. I've also got satelite set up with well over 200 channels available, including sports for anyone interested.

I've bought the large building next door... with the indoor pool, that came up for sale recently. There are showers included. With plenty of room for the masseuses to work.

Tracy..definitely the round plate set. I love those deep coffee cups. I really liked the drinking glasses, tumblers and the rest you picked out as well.

Flirting is ok... but if it's super serious.... take it someplace private. We don't want any little kids walking in on anyone.

The roof ... will have large skylights, so you can have plenty of light and to save on electricity. Plus large solar panels to charge backup generators in case of power outages.

Wi-fi is available. As will be wii.

Entertainment... poetry nights from 5 to 8 p.m. each night.
Live bands on Friday from 8 p.m. to closing.
Saturday from 10 p.m. to closing.
Karaoke on Saturday all day until 9:45 p.m. Otherwise, all day every day from 8 p.m. to closing.
Meals are always prepared fresh.. unless the boss (Me) decides to hire the caterer in the event of needing time off.
Pizza is always available if you don't like what's on the menu. There will however be a large selection of those... as not everyone likes veggie pizza. LOL

I'll post more, as my brain wakes up, lol.

In the new building I'm having a large stage built, with cushioned seating so noone gets a sore bum from sitting on folding chairs. ... and I've ordered 6 pool tables and even a few dart boards in case anyone wants to play darts. All sections will be partitioned off for sound purposes.

here's my day :)
I got up about 4am, popped here for coffee and had a chat to mary about our new funky chairs...then about 6.30 my nephew comes in , in a panic
"Mum's fallen in the shower, and there's BLOOD everywhere!" and I could tell be his voice he was about to panic!

Now, the great thing about ADHD is I do fab in a crisis :) (not that this is a terrible crisis, but everyone else was panicking! )

I grab the blanket off I was sitting on because in the split second I heard until I jumped up I figured my sis-in-law would be nekkedd as the day she was born :)
(how thoughtful of me!)

well, I go into the bathroom to find her practically passed out, and what looked like 2 litres of blood all over her! She must have been rolling in the stuff..it was on the wall, the door, blood everywhere..and blood stinks!

I wrapped her in the blanket and grabbed a few fresh towels (being careful to grab the odd ones LOL)
I'm trying to give her a tad of dignity and make sure she stops bleeding..
Off I go for icepacks and more towels...
I love crisis :)

I got a chair and when she was feeling a tad better she could get on it. I made her stay there while I got a wet towel to clean her up...it was all sticky and smelly, and the shower was rapidly filling up with sopping towels..

I went into the kitchen while she was resting on the chair and for some reason decided to get her a glass of milk with a few spoons of sugar in it..I have no idea why, but I must have seen it somewhere :)

about 10-15 minutes have passed..shes got a bit of sense back, and has a massive bang to her head (hence all the blood) I know head wounds bleed a lot, so I wasn't too worried..and it stopped bleeding..
ok..get her clothes, and she can just get her undies on etc..

meanwhile, daughter 15 has gone down like a deck of cards in sypmathy..shes green and faint on the couch..she can't sit up..I get her a bucket just in case..
everyone else is just milling around in a daze :)

While s-i-law regains herself I mop the bathroom, and chuck everything in a wash..
DD is still green, my nephew is white as a ghost (hes 16) and dd 17 is getting ready for school..

the bathroom still stinks :)

I took her to the hospital, and luckily no-one was there, so she went straight in. She looked a tad strange, walking bent over with a towell on the back of her head..

anyway..I left her there after they said she'd need a few staples when they can see the cut under the claggy blood they were soaking off..

now, why didn't I take my phone or camera for photos..

now, I think I need that coffee

PS..thank goodness she didn't do that in out nice new showers here... I could not cope if she got ALL that blood on our new couches and rugs!!!

I have been with him 3 years, but its been very part time we dont live together. Look he has been a good friend in alot of ways, but there was alot of distractions to deter from the reality that we are really not suited as a couple. The question is if i have the strength to spilt with all else that i am dealing with, just lost best friend of 20 years, had to move to a new town where i know no one, and then theres the whole gammit of emotions arising from newly Dx ADD. Im lying to myself if i stay with him, but if i split i may also be losing a "support" i really need right now. Very confused. But i know for sure things cant continue as they are not good for either of us.

im just wondering from an unmedicated ADD prespective if i sub-consciously create a build up of stress, in order for me to move on something. I have for sure an undersupply of stress hormones, like nothing scares me. I mean no doubt that "P" has no clue how to be in a relationship, which from his history of abuse is not surprising. But it does feel like he is using the relationship as an excuse to avoid his own issues, in which case i am not doing him or me any favours by sticking it out. If he was committed to being well i think i would be way more sympathetic, but he quit therapy soon after meeting me, and i think he has transfered alot of his resentment of his father onto me. Not fair and no fun. I just need to find the courage to tell him i am not happy.

Nps Tracey, im really bad at keeping secrets, so you have me intrigued , but i hope it all comes through for you anyway. I have sort been productive, the house behind me got robbed yesterday, so i have running around replacing my external sensor lights. And researching more about ADD which is another distraction from what i really should be doing. I will still need to find a psychiatrist to give me meds if i choose to go down that path, which i have heard has a 6 or 8 week wait. Christ, as if i havent waited long enough??? Nps Tracey, im really bad at keeping secrets, so you have me intrigued , but i hope it all comes through for you anyway. I have sort been productive, the house behind me got robbed yesterday, so i have running around replacing my external sensor lights. And researching more about ADD which is another distraction from what i really should be doing. I will still need to find a psychiatrist to give me meds if i choose to go down that path, which i have heard has a 6 or 8 week wait. Christ, as if i havent waited long enough??? BR, once you are settled with meds through your shrink and they are happy with your progress...they can contact your GP and get them to prescribe your meds at his request:D IYKWIM:p

I can get my script from my GP now which is a lot cheaper than a $175 fee for a script :)

yep, but the problem is im being diagnosed by a psychologist, and they cant prescribe meds. So i prolly still have to find a psychiatrist to med me up, before i can go to a GP.

What are you on, what have you tried??BR...I first tried dex...I liked it and it certainly worked to keep me still ...I thought they worked brill but I still had trouble getting info to sink in. My shrink said try ritalin..wow..they were / are brill for clarity and focus. I was sooooo impressed, but they only worked for about an hour or so, and had a really small time where they worked well. The drop-off and side effects were horrible, compared to the dex. I asked my doc if there was a med that was a combo of the two, the clarity of ritalin, and the dex effect with no horrible side effect or drop off..

alas, there wasn't:o
so I asked if I could take both together :)
He said...errmmm..I guess so:p and I have been taking both together ever since..(about 2 years)

so, I take 3 x 5mg dex plus 2 x 10mg ritalin up to 3 x a day..

it's a great combo for me:p
