Hey all,

I could have put this in the Vyvanse forum , but I think DextroStat users are smarter ;). No offense Vyv.... Anyways I was just curious on how another might interperet this dosage ...

I'm currently, well on average, taking Vyvanse50mg 2x/day (usually 6:00am and 10:00am) w/ 4 DexStat (gen.) 10mg tabs (20 around 2:00pm , 20 around , no later than 5:00pm) . This seems to work ok, Vyvanse weak.

Heres what I have read from Wikipedia "A 25 mg of Vyvanse capsule is molecularly equivalent to 10 mg Dexedrine Spansules (both the aforementioned pharmaceuticals are about 7.425 mg dextroamphetamine), "
So, then if I do the math, my 50mg capsule = 14.85mg DAmph. I def. don't feel like it is though - I know its timed released , but there is no way I get anymore than 4hrs out of it.

So the big question, and I'm sorry if this seems so plainly obvious , but if someone asked YOU what your dose was on Vyvanse/DexStat combo, would you simply say 70mg Dextroamphetamine...prob. ????

I was just curious on if others thought or read something different.

Also... while I've heard possitives and negatives (prolly more neg.) about the dex. spansules, I wanted to give them I try (whats the harm) So I picked up script for 2x15mg bid (twice day) ----
If I can even find some around here, should I look for a certain manufacturer, or does the generic seem just as good from anybody with experience?
