Ah well

I gave it a good shot but in the end my rapid heartbeat and weird night time horrors were just too much.

I dropped from 50mg to 40mg recently because of a rapid resting heartbeat - 100bpm. Then it just wasn't effective. So went up to 46mg to see I could get close to 50mg but not close enough to cause the rapid heart beat. Didn't work!

I think it built up in me and my heart just went crazy fast, up to 130bpm at times. Then the other night I had the most awful time, 4 hours of the most horrible feelings washing over me - I thought I was a gonna to be honest.

Meh. So I have stopped it all now. It's a real shame as it was working wonders. So I will go back and see what I can try next. This was the first medication I have taken for ADHD.

I dont know what is next as I live in the UK.

I myself am on 40mg at mo when i see me psych on may 2nd i'm going to ask for an increase.

Hopefully i won't get the rapid heartbeat like you have, we'll see.

That stinks the side effects were so bad for you. I think you are making the right decision though. A medication shouldn't make it unbearable for you to function. Maybe you will have more success with the next medication. :)
