I take wellbutrin and concerta.

I can't figure out what the right dose is for me.

72 - Sleep great, extreme hyper focus, anti social at times, spaced sometimes.

54 - didn't stay on long cause of initial irritability. Thing is, that was probably just getting used to concerta in general.

36 - Don't remember, took it in 2006 and ramped up soon after.

Can you guys give me some idea of what you take or what to look for in "feeling, focus". I don't want to take too much just to feel better or have a high that i'm not aware of.

I would suggest that you ask your Dr or pharmacist concerning this.

I have taken both of those drugs together before, and I did not experience the same effects that you describe experiencing.

We each can and do respond differently to these medications more often than not, and what seems to work best for one person is not always the best indicator of what would work best for another person.

Please keep us posted on how this unfolds for you.

Thanks for the answer, but the doctor can't answer this question for me.

Only people that take the meds can do that.

Also, the doc told me to work with 72-36 and figure out which worked best for me.

I don't' have a history of abusing any drugs and we have long relationship.

I'm more Interested in personal stories and how you came to the right dosage.

Not so much the dose, but how you came to it.

For me it was a tedious and timely affair that involved me trying as many different dosages, and as many different forms of a given drug as possible.

For example, I found that not all long acting versions (brand name and generic versions) of methylphenidate worked the same for me at the same dose. I also found that not all of the immediate release versions of methylphenidate worked the same way for me either.
