I started Strattera about two weeks ago and I just wanted to say that it is going well. I'm starting to get this feeling that I want to be doing stuff. It sorta feels like a small dose of Adderall.

Has anyone else got this feeling while on Strattera?

I also noticed that I want to do what I should be doing more. Like if I have some free time I'm more likely to go and read for school. It is also becoming increasing easy for me to express myself. Even writing this now, I feel like it is all coming out smoothly and clearly. I just wanted to write this to give hope to those who just started Strattera or feel like giving up on it. Give it the time that it needs and you may be surprised with the results.

Is anyone else around the two week mark with Strattera? Should I expect the results to get better? Will I see improvements past this?

It feels like it's just starting to work.

Another thing, I really feel like yesterday the dose didn't wear off like it usually dose after a certain time.

Could this be because the medication is finally in my blood and now I will receive the benefits of Strattera 24/7?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks. ;)

It can take 3-4 weeks for Strattera to take its full effect. There are several factors that could influence how you're feeling right now. For example, one might be that the possible efficacy of Strattera for you may give you hope and optimism. This new outlook may contribute to some of your recent successes. You really need to give it more time to determine whether Strattera is working for you or not.

As you put it, "Give [Strattera] the time that it needs and you may be surprised with the results." Best wishes for your success.
