Hey here is a question.. Does anyone out there rub their Eyes, clap their hands, rub their hands, Bite (currently or used to) their hands, or used to crawl while rubbing their head on the floor?
Anyone just play with their hair at random, or just sit back and look at things or listen to things over and over again because it is funny?
I used do these things at one point in my life and just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
Maybe this is a way to release excess energy!! The second part I am always doing!

Do you rub your eyes and clap your hands at the same time? ;)

I scratch myself.
More stressed out I am, the worse.
Mostly, it's just my head and face, but sometimes it's all over.
Arms, neck, back, legs. I don't hurt myself, it's not a selfdestructive thing at all, but it's really annoying and embarrasing in social contexts, and I wish I could stop it.
No one ever recognized it as a symptom before, least of all myself, before my mom said it to me about a month ago. She always told me not to, but we just thought it was a bad habit of mine. But a month ago she pointed it out to me as a possible ADHD symptom, and I think she may be right...
Ooop...and I dance a bit, hehe...sometimes I forget where I am, and especially if I'm listening to music at that time, I can find myself doing little dancesteps.
That doesn't annoy me so much, though, since it seems to make most people around me smile. ;)

That's me... I'll catch myself dancing around instead of walking like a normal person.
As for the other stuff, I'll play with my watch, jewelry or hair...

Some of these things sound like tourettisms. And of course, it's entirely possible. It's estimated that somewhere between 6 and 8 out of 1000 Americans have Tourettes, though a significant number don't exhibit symptoms of great consequence and are never diagnosed.
