Random acts of kindness - Those little things we go out of our way to do for other people. I would love to hear about your 'Random Acts Of Kindness' no matter how small or how insignificant it may have seemed at the time.

Who’s face did you put a smile on today?

saw a woman leaving the grocery store the other day.. her 2 gallons of milk fell off the bottom of the cart. Some guy came running over to help her pick them up.

A little bit later, we saw someone else stopped with a flat tire... someone stopped by and helped change it.

I told a white lie to my niece and said she looked great in a new dress she had been saving for. I didn't have the heart to tell her what it really looked like on her. Was I wrong?

Depends. Her age, if she was asking an opinion at all, knowing her personality well enough to know how she'd take it. I had a friend ask me her opinion on something she'd written. When I pointed out a couple of editing notes she became defensive...so why did she ask anyway? Might as well just tell her her writing is "fine". So, same goes for your niece. Depends.

Random Acts of kindness...
Personally I'm a toilet paper "fanatic". I could use the last of the toilet paper (in public), but I feel compelled to replace the roll, or unstick the first ply, or lower it down a little so it isn't stuck up the holder.

What I have seen...can't think of any right now.

today i helped a senior citizen decide on which shampoo was best for his hair type. well .. i didnt have a choice. he walked up to me and ask but i suppose i could of walked away or redirected him. i explained what each bottle was specifically designed for and he was thankful for it.

I called my friend who has just been admitted to psych the other day and talked to him for half an hour. I asked him if he wanted me to visit, because I really wanted to see him and let him know his is not alone, but he said he was very happy I called because he knows how hard it is for me to pick up the phone and do that instead of just texting, but he didn't have the surplus for visitors.
I didn't tell him I'd already borrowed a car and put gas on it, because I just know he'd have me visit out of misplaced guilt then.
I just respected his boundaries because that's what is crucial to me when I'm in the spot he's in now.

Oh, and I've helped six snails cross the road.
And changed 50% water in one of my fishtanks.
Fushies were 'appyyy!!! :D
