:(
I am experiencing a low dosage situation. I have been diagnosed with adhd for about 10 years, impulse controle being my worst symptom. Two years ago, I stopped taking Adderall altogether. I was taking two 30mg XR a day. Five days ago, I went to a new doctor who prescribed the 10mg XR. The first couple of days I felt great, outgoing, attentive, ambitiouse, calm, and in controle over my thoughts and feelings. Now, Im on day five, taking only the 10mg in the morning, and having trouble just typing this post. My anxiety is rushing right back in again. Its kind of painful to get a glimps of so much clarity, and then wake up and all of a sudden, I'm right back in the fog again. So now, I'm trying to navigate myself through the day with constant and differing thoughts and impulses once again. Although, Im not going to take anymore than prescribed. I just will have to wait it out until my next appointment because this doctor seems to be impossible to get on the phone. Any advice or comments are greatly appreciated. Trying to get off my pitty pot :o.

Sounds like normal tolerance. Your doctor may want you to try that dose for 2-4 weeks anyway. As the full tolerance will not be observed till then.
