I am guessing this is traffic related...since complete rebooting of system did not solve issue...but things are working now...and like 2-5 min ago I kept getting the same cannot find HTML Page error of
"The page cannot be found"
for the following (over the last week...not exhaustive):
1) New Posts
2) All search function.
3) Log Out
4) A bunch more I don't remember, but I'm ADHD so give me a break.
Force reloading the page and deleting all offline files had no effect.
~Please mention any workarounds if this occurs constantly...or is it just a matter of traffic and patience.
~The only work-around I found was using Google to search and then going to the post I wanted...which does work, but I couldn't search my own posts/threads as easily.
I'm using IE6 and don't recall if I had the problem on Firefox at home.
*Note: Many offices like mine still use IE6 SP1/SP2 as their primary browser and do not allow alternatives to be installed...you still MUST test on IE6 SP1 & SP2! We are a very large company of over 50,000 employeeS...and generally take a gradualist approach to software updates as we have more in house tweaks and testing done to deploy worldwide. Many big companies are similar...just in case you believed M$ BS that everyone was on IE7/Vista now.
