Presently my psyc doc has me on 60MG of Vyvanse & 80MG of Prozac. He also gave me a refill script for Xanax & increased the dose to 0.5MG per pill plus Ambien.

Now since I have been taking the Vyvanse -- I feel totally wired, jittery and this weird hypomanic feeling especially in the late afternoon. Not the 'good type' of mania, but the type where you feel agitated, negative about everything, slightly to very paranoid. Also sweating more especially after exercise.

I have had trouble sleeping plus the nighttime anxiety so instead of Xanax, I have been going thru this percoset prescription I got last week for a wounded finger.

So far, the only ADHD med that helped me was Focalin. I had this same problem with Adderall. It works great for the first few hours, but the crashes were bad. I had to take the Prozac in the late afternoon because of this.

Are you just starting prozac? You were unclear in your post.

In my experience with the SSRI Lexapro (escitalopram 20mg's) it actually helped with the jittery and manic feelings you described and dampened the anxiety remarkably well too but it did nothing to help me sleep.

Prozac from what I hear is more stimulating than Lexapro, which might be the reason why you are getting negative side effects from over stimulation.
