just started taking it a couple weeks ago, up to 54mg now.
question, my pulse is normal, but i do feel some shortness of breath / awareness of heart beating, does this eventually go away?
also, has concerta raised anyones blood pressure? i just tested mine at home and its 130/80 but no idea what it was before i started the medication.

I think you need to talk to your doctor about those side effects. I have been on it for 2 months now and I don't have any side effects. I only got some in the first week or so.

Likwidsix, I had all of that too at the beginning with 54 mg, but it passed after a few weeks. Just keep a close eye on it.

just to let everyone know,
i belive the palpatations were a result of
-exams / stress, lack of sleep
-concerta still new to body
so i did go off the drug for 4 days until my heart got back to normal.
i went straight back to 54mg but made sure
-no caffeine at all
-eating properly
-8 hours of sleep a night
so far everything has been good.

likwidsix, I had the same. The higher dose of concerta came at the same time as exam stress, so it went all down just really badly. I also noticed that the heart racing would be less if I took care I ate properly, which was hard because my appetite was messed up again. The key indeed is to try to have everything normal; sleeping, eating, excersise, stress levels, etc.
