just the first generation with ADHD that had enough literacy for enough time with enough social opportunity and technological advancement to see things for what they really are and to react against that? And thats when the ADHD went mainstream... and the meds became a useful tool for one magic ailment that seems to grow every year as people get smarter whats going on....

they were so mean to the veitnam vets....
....I dunno if that's something we'd do.
my personal hypothysis, is, no one knew better, and partied down, not knowing better.
and now..
...as hunter S thompson said, it left a generation of perminant cripples.

I've often thought I would've been a good flower child.
Very possible Mincan. Especially if they had those symptoms...themselves and were able to focus better while using the stimulants..and decided they wanted to help others in the same situation.
Because before that.. I had never heard of it.. until the early 70's...it was never discussed prior to that. Children with anything like behavioral problems were placed in group/state homes. Parents never discussed the children who were institutionalized.

Me too.
Actually Mincan, you could be onto something there, I will have to really ponder some of that and go back about 30+ years. We partied way too much, even at school. But at least we were not worried about getting killed at school, or at the least not by a fellow student.
I may have to get out my Big Bambu Album to get in the mood:D Oh forgot to add I still have the bonus it came with. Could never afford to use it..... Of course Sister Mary Elephant was teaching a room full of ADHD'rs
