Does anyone find that sometimes the medication to correct the ADD/ADHD actually causes more problems? I have been on Adderall, Ritalin and like for over 4 years now upon which for the most part it works. Recently, I am noticing that the medication is causing additional issues, such as the inability to reason logical problems and so forth. In terms of actual focusing I am able to do such to a degree but nothing like before. In addition, while the medication appears not working like before, I have started consuming B12 on daily basis. Personally from what I have seen the B12 increases my energy level whereas the prescribed medication makes me want to sleep or relax.

Also to note, while taking the medication I am seeing a learning impairment, as to the inability to perform in a suitable fashion. This means that when typing or completing an assignment, I am making more error now than ever before. These errors consist of both misspelled words and improper grammar.

However, I must agree that my overall state of being regarding my emotions is more stable without the medication. In terms of focusing, B12 appears to do more these days. Could this because I no longer need the medication and thus more chemicals are being produced which in turn, suppresses the overall state of being? I have no reason to assume such other than recently the medication that I have taken for years does not render the same results.

Thus if someone could provide some insight for this issue that would be great
