Very interesting and true.

It's because we start talking about one thing and then think of millions of examples and those examples take us off on all kinds of tangents...

I have seen threads on other boards that when posts are too long ADDers have a hard time following and move on to the next. Let me tell you I do not have ADD but do the same for really long posts. I do however if it is a serious post where someone is really in need I do read it more closely to help.

I should add I keep mine shorter for a reason.

I've been here two days and have already noticed the same thing. There are some crazily long, complex posts on these boards.

I think the high percentage of posters on amphetamines has something to do with it.

My poor s/o has had to suffer through probably hundreds of 1,000 to 5,000 word emails from me. In each case, I sat down to just write a line or two.

I had no idea that could be a symptom of something. Wow.

i find it funny how people who have such short attention spans write such long posts and have others ( in the same boat) read them through... i guess it all depends on if your really into the post or not.

can i make another point? for all the people who think add is attached to intelligence, there are so many incredibly long AND intelligent posts on this forum!!! i am increasingly refreshed to read well thought out, written posts with proper grammar... by very smart individuals..

LOL...you're hillarious gafter! I know I tend to be quite verbose...and for that, my dear friends at the ADD Forums, I apoligize. But I think that people here really take an interests in other's plights and feel a genuine, altruistic willingess to help them. Which is what keeps me coming back for more.
