I am taking Neurontin along with Vyvanase. I find that taking the Neurontin in the afternoon & evening helps the crash from the Vyvanase. Now on 900MG of Neurontin (300MG * 3), Prozac & Vyvanase. It also helps with sleep taking before bed.

At one point I was taking Depakote ER and Vyvanse together...the Depakote just seemed to make things worse. I'd get sleepy for a whole...meh hour...then it was like second, third, and fourth winds. He took me off the Depakote and put me on Prozac, but that didn't go over well either...cutting, suicidal thoughts...so I just recently came off that....not to mention during that time I switched from Vyvanse to Adderall XR.
It has definately been a fun month - my check book and job would say otherwise.
I hope this works for you!!!
I was reading about L-type calcium channel blocker that can counter the
anxiety inducing effects from stimulants. Anyway one such drug verapamil
may have some limited use as a mood stablizer also.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verapamil
Verapamil has an anti-manic effect but is rarely used for mania. It has on occasion been used used to control mania in pregnant patients, especially in the first 3 months. It does not appear to be significantly teratogenic. For this reason, when one wants to avoid taking valproic acid (which is high in teratogenicity) or lithium (which has a small but significant incidence of causing cardiac malformation), Verapamil is usable as an alternative, albeit presumably a less effective one.

I'm on 3600mg a day of Neurontin. It's been great so far for stabilizing my mood and helps with sleep as well. I am having a bit of trouble with weight gain from it though. Some added exercise is helping with that and I think improving my situation overall. I take 25mg Adderall XR twice a day.
