My Dr. has suggested I switch from about 40mg of Dexedrine taken twice dailly to Adderall once a day 15mg. I would like to know if any of you have done this? If so did you gradually go of the Dexedrine and then introduce them? Did you combine them for a short period of time? Did you stop one cold and then begin the other?

I switched from Dexedrine to Adderall. I was on 10mg Spansules, so the doc switched me to 10mg Adderall XR. 10mg XR and I felt relatively nothing so we doubled it to 20mg XR.

I pretty much just took Dex one day, and once I got my new prescription, switched over to Adderall. No introduction, no combination... just a simple switcheroo.
