Sometimes on the weekends; I will go without my Adderall (my psych said it's ok). On these days I feel terrible! I feel like I can literally fall asleep standing up. I can't sit down to watch TV without falling asleep. The only way I can sit down at all is if I'm having meaningful conversations with someone.
I just feel like I'm dragging. Is this a withdrawal problem? I hate it.

Yes.. tell your doctor what you've told us about the dragging and being lethargic. See if it's possible to try a lighter dose on weekends...to help with it.
One thing we found that with these mini-holidays on weekends is that Beth would always have trouble most of Monday at school, sometimes part of Tuesday. Every week. Her work showed the difference.
So did her (additude)< ... weekends were heck in some way or another.

I have the same problem... I've come to realize I don't like the idea of a drug 'holiday'... if this is a medication my body needs to function properly, then why would I stop taking it? I take my thyroid medication every day. I take my vitamins every day. I notice a difference when I don't take those things, too. I think it's harder on my system to jump around like that. So, I try to stay as consistent as possible.

I thought the idea was to take them everyday to maintain a balance in your brain.
.......I need my brain on the weekends too.
